Ordering and getting your site live

Getting a site made really couldn't be much simpler as we take care of everything for you and can normally get your site live within just a few days of ordering.

Below are the basic steps to getting your site live but please do not hesitate to call should you have any questions.

1. Choose your design

The most important part is deciding on a design and colour scheme. All designs can be adapted to your prefered colours at no extra charge and can also inlcude your own logo and photos.

You do not even need to think about the options you want at this stage as these can be added on at any time.

2. Get a draft made or pay for site

We look after sites for over 300 instructors and many customers prefer to take the quicker route of simply paying for the design and letting us get it live as quickly as possible, however, you may prefer to get an idea of how the site would look before buying.

This is no problem and is just a case of filling in some basic information for us using the 'Request a draft' form. We will create a draft based on your design and colour scheme choice which you can then view online.

Although it will not contain your text, prices etc. it will show how the site would look.

When you are ready to make payment, you can simply click on the 'Buy now' link above the appropriate design in the design page OR, if you want to spread payments, go to the Monthly payments page.

3. Choose a website address or transfer an existing one

If you do not already have a website address, then all you need to do is find an available one you like.

You can check for available domain names by visiting the Names Co website but there is no need to register anything as we do this on your behalf when you order.

If you already have a website address, whether already in use as a website or has been registered and nothing actually been done withit, we will need to transfer it over to our server. This is usually quite straight forward and we can normally take care of the whole process for you.

NB. The only limitation on moving site addresses applies to ones that do not end in '.co.uk'' (eg. .com, .net etc). if you have one of these that has been registered or had a change of ownership within the last 60 days, then they cannot be moved until the 60 days is up. Please call if you have any queries about this.

4. Site goes live

Once payment has been made, we register your chosen domain or start the transfer process for your existing one if appropriate.

We get to work to make the site to your preferences and get it live. This normally takes no more than 5 working days.

Although you do have the facility to change the text on the home page, add your own prices etc. you can send these to us and we will be happy to put these on for you.

Changes to live site

Unlike the vast majority of web design companies, we give a years free updates for your site. Although you have the facility to change many aspects yourself we are happy to do this for you if you are not confident. This can include changes to text and images in existing pages.

Payment methods

Payments are prefered using a credit / debit card via PayPal and this is the only option if you want to spread payments. If you want to make a bank transfer for the total cost, then please let us know and we can supply the appropriate information.
